This is a cool tool! It has no branding apart from stating it is an 'Extra hollow ground' made in Sheffield, it has a great blade that is nice and clean with very little mileage on it. The bevel is sharp and crisp and the shaving action out there in the lead scrambling for pole position. What makes this razor more unique is the scales made from something resembling vulcanized rubber, it reminds me of the racetrack and/or conveyor belts from my construction days!
This razor weighs 43 grams and has a spine thickness of 4.5 mm, blade height of 18 mm, or around 11/16 that delivers a bevel angle of 14 degrees. The razor is shave ready and easy to hone and strop, the scales are nice and tight and the rubber should keep it this way for a long time to come! Chances are you are going to be using this one a lot!
*Vintage razors are priced according to model and availability, time spent cleaning and reconditioning and time/level of honing. Please enquire if you need additional work done to this razor prior to purchase. All straight razors will require a stropping on a leather strop before every use. Pics are unedited (detail) and provide a true image of the condition of the razor.
