The type L razor is a fairly recent model from Schick and was on the shelves from 1965 to 1980. It was available in a few variants, and many of you might very well have used this razor at one time. This is the 'Championship model' which was a marketing campain that tied the razor to the Olympics at the time. With the L-type, Schick experimented with various promotional campains from the late 60's to '70s. There was the Stick Schick (auto racing), the Schick Grip (tennis), the Easy Rider (the movie), and the Championship (for the Olympics). There was also a 1972 Lady Eversharp in special flower girl packaging, all the Type L models are the same basic razors in different jackets.
It weighs 29 grams and is 120 mm tall and in very good condition. New blades are available from this page on our store.
