Parker is a manufacturer from India that has been producing fine hardware since 1973, you can bet your bottom rupee you are in good hands if you pick one of their products. This is where performance, quality and value for money comes together in razor universe. Their razors vary from fairly conservative to outright Bollywood splendour, and boy do they ever have the moves!  Their shaving action ranges from mild to medium aggressive, so basically anyone can use them.

Another old school classic looking razor from the Indian manufacturer, the square shaped recesses in the stainless steel handle adds to its nostalgic appearance, as razors nowadays have more curves than the models of yesteryear. The chrome finish on the 3-piece head blends in perfectly with the stainless steel handle. Knurling on the stainless offers a bit more bite, so if you have soap all over your hands when shaving this one is certainly worth a look at. Simple, classic, functional...always a win in a razor. a Heavy razor at 115 grams, with a height of 111 mm.

Noisy :-) but good

At 116g, quite a hefty razor, feels very solid in the hand and the knurled stainless-steel handle ensures very secure grip. Nicely engineered, the handle screws onto the threaded cap-post in a very satisfying, precise way.
Parker don't publicly disclose the specs (blade gap and exposure), but the blade exposure is such that the shave action is definitely on the high side of medium (heading slightly towards aggressive).
The blade gap - as best I can measure with a vernier - is around 0.8mm, which is significant (see pic). The resulting 'blade flutter' does make the razor quite 'noisy'. Whilst that's not caused me any problems shaving, with this baby you will definitely hear and know when you've hit stubble and started cutting it ;-)
I tested with Wilkinson Sword blades (so far) and these work very well with this razor.
Overall, you will definitely need to exercise your technique with this razor but the results will be well worthwhile - you'll get a smooth, satisfying shave that lasts well into the day. Combined with Jaco's excellent liquid post-shave balm (aka PrePo oil), this one's a winner.

Great Razor

I've used this razor regularly now for several weeks. It feels comfortable and secure in hand even when your hands are wet or soapy this is no doubt due to its sharp knurling. It's got great heft which gives you the sense that you are holding something of quality in your hand. It just feels really good to hold.

It's an absolute pleasure to shave with. It glides on your face quite effortlessly and smoothly.
In terms of closeness, I would say it's somewhere between medium and aggressive leaning towards aggressive.

I've used several blades with it.
Obviously Feathers make this razor more aggressive than it already is. Minora's, BIC's and Voshkods all perform great for me in this razor and even South Africa's not quite favorite Lion blades actually felt quite good in this razor for some reason.

Supermax Super Stainless (green pack) were horrible. But then they've been horrible for me in other razors as well.

Gillette Wilkinsons Sword blades are the best performing blade with this razor by far for me. It feels as If Wilkinsons Sword blades were specifically made for the Parker 64s

Anyone who chooses his razor won't be disappointed and will be very happy with their purchase. I know I am.

Once again thanks to Jaco and Bundubeard for their great service.
