No markings on this razor, but you can tell the steel is proper and the build quality is excellent. Somebody may be able to identify it from shape, size and grind as it is quite unique. This razor is in great all round condition and took a very nice edge on the long blade, the bevel is thin and uniform indicating very little use. The pinning, wedge and celluloid scales are in great condition. All in all a very cool razor that shaved very close.
This razor weighs 50 grams and has a spine thickness of 4 mm, blade height of 18 mm, or just 0ver 11/16ths that delivers a bevel angle of 12.7 degrees. The blade is in good nick with no spine wear, there are only a few marks and spots here and there, but generally the polished blade looks good.
The razor strops very easily on a paddle and hanging strop as the scales are still nice and tight with very little deformation on account of age.
*Vintage razors are priced according to model and availability, time spent cleaning and reconditioning and time/level of honing. Please enquire if you need additional work done to this razor prior to purchase. All straight razors will require a stropping on a leather strop before every use. Pics are unedited (detail) and provide a true image of the condition of the razor.
