This one I really enoyed testing, it is smooth and the sharpness level dailed in perfectly to my preference, it is a loud razor that gives proper feedback because of the large blade and thin grind. The only markings are 'Extra hollow grind' on the tang, and an emblem on the blade which we obscured a bit, you could polish this blade up with a 1000 grit sandpaper and metal polish if you want it to shine with the emblem showing.

After sanding and cleaning the blade we treated it to give it well aged look, not that of rust, but rather a blue/green patina, we fitted African wild olive scales and treated these to match the blade. The nickel pinning with stainless steel washers matches nicely with the few bright spots left on the blade.

*Vintage razors are priced according to model and availability, time spent cleaning and reconditioning them, and also time spent getting the edge into a shave ready condition (some are preserved as is, or sold as is for the new owner to sharpen) Please enquire if you need additional work done to this razor prior to purchase.

All straight razors will require a stropping on leather after its first use. Pics are unedited (for detail) and provide a true image of the condition of the razor.

The square point razor blade is over 6/8 in height and has a cutting edge of around 66 mm long and a weight of 51 grams. The spine is 4 mm thick with no spine wear. The dimensions results in a bevel angle just over 14 degrees. Although it says "extra hollow' on the tang it is a half hollow grind, it shaves more like a full hollow though, nice and close.

a Proper 'Bush razor' this one! If you like the look, anticipate zero buyers remorse after the shave.
