If you have a higher end razor or one of our bulky Bundu whackers you may want to add a bit of luxury and style in the form of a pouch made from game skin. These pouches are made by hand using skins we get our hands on as and when they become available. The pattern and size will remain much the same, but the texture, colour and feel will vary a lot from species to species and animal to animal, that being said, the uniform size and shape will make them well worth collecting to store your valuable razors without having your collection look random and disorganized. Larger pouches also allow for razors to be wrapped in plastic or wax paper to add additional protection during long term storage.
Oryx leather is normally extremely soft and tough and it is well suited for high end furniture, so it is processed to be comfortable and supple as one would expect from higher end sofas, the skin is riddled with marks, scratches, spots and textures, and no two will ever look the same, they all have a very individual and unique appearance that tells its own story of life on the plains and deserts of Africa.
Wildebeest leather is slightly thicker than Oryx and not quite as soft, but still a lot softer and more luxurious than veg tanned ox leather, it also has interesting texture and marks that the animals pick up from living life in the bush.
Game skins have textures that vary quite a lot from the spine to the flanks as their skins have evolved to protect them from the elements and their environment, ox leather seem to have lost the need for this as they live in fairly friendly environments. This translates to pouches from the same animal being quite varied in apperance, we love this about them, matching up razors with pouches should be part of the fun in owning these awsome tools!

On account of commercial farming South Africa's wildlife populations has increased dramatically, we now have more roaming game than what we had in the last 150 years! Game farming practices are by no means perfect, but they are sustainable for the best part, and what better way to support conservation than to make sure that the animals that are harvested are used to their full potential.
Pouches are partially finished and still needs the flap-strap fitted, so feel free to personalize it and have a name lasered on there. Some leathers do not show lettering well, so the strap may not be the same type and colour of leather than the pouch itself.
